My baking experiment #76 – caramel apple pizza

Fall is here and with it comes cooler weather andΒ fall flavors. Pumpkin is the official flavor of fall but i’m not a big fan of pumpkin so you won’t see any pumpkin desserts here. Apples, on the other hand, i love.

Apples are great on their own but also go well with peanut butter, cinnamon, caramel… Tonight is pizza night and for dessert, i decided to bake a caramel apple pizza.

Using the same pizza dough from my pizza post, i topped the rolled out dough with apple slices, sprinkled some cinnamon for extra fall flavor, and baked at 375 for 15-20 minutes. After it’s done i drizzled it with hot caramel sauce, added a scoop of ice-cream and more caramel sauce.

This dessert pizza is so yummy! Bursting with apple & caramel flavors with a hint of cinnamon. Tastes just like an apple pie with a nice crispy crust. Perfect sweet end to a cool fall evening! πŸ™‚
