The weather is cold & rainy today. I was craving some fresh-baked bread but was too lazy to mess with yeast, so i decided to go with some pizza puffs instead:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 oz cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 oz pepperoni, diced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt and onion powder. Add milk and sour cream and mix until combined. Stir in cheese and pepperoni. Divide batter into 6 muffin cups. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden.

These pizza puffs are so yummy! They taste like pizza without the tomato sauce. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They are great for dipping in marinara sauce or some hot soup, or as a side eaten with dinner. So simple and takes almost no time to bake. I’ll be making them a lot in the future, i reckon! 🙂
