I’ve made a chocolate mug cake, mug cookie, and mug brownie. All yummy. Now it’s time to try a mug cake in a different flavor: peanut butter!
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Add all ingredients to an 8-ounce or larger microwave-safe mug. Use a fork to stir together until combined.
- Microwave on high until the cake has risen and springs back slightly when you poke it, about 60 seconds.
- Top with chocolate chips or ice-cream if desired and enjoy right away.
This mug cake sure is nutty! You can smell the peanut butter while it’s still in the microwave. The cake itself is soft & tender, with a mild peanut flavor. It’s a fast & simple mug cake, perfect with some chocolate ice-cream.
