peanut butter mug cake

I’ve made a chocolate mug cake, mug cookie, and mug brownie. All yummy. Now it’s time to try a mug cake in a different flavor: peanut butter!


  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  1. Add all ingredients to an 8-ounce or larger microwave-safe mug. Use a fork to stir together until combined.
  2. Microwave on high until the cake has risen and springs back slightly when you poke it, about 60 seconds.
  3. Top with chocolate chips or ice-cream if desired and enjoy right away.

This mug cake sure is nutty! You can smell the peanut butter while it’s still in the microwave. The cake itself is soft & tender, with a mild peanut flavor. It’s a fast & simple mug cake, perfect with some chocolate ice-cream.
