So last night i made glazed donuts using canned biscuit dough. I had some dough leftover but didn’t wanna make regular biscuits, so i thought: what else can i make with this? And of course i thought of dessert.
Tonight’s dessert is real easy: just 2 ingredients, biscuit dough and ice-cream. 3 if you count the syrup. Basically just place the dough in a waffle iron and waffle it for around 3-5 minutes. Then top the “waffles” with ice-cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup (because we’re making a sundae), then dig in before the ice-cream melts on the hot waffles!
The biscuit-waffles are super yummy & crispy. Just like a regular crispy waffle (not the fluffy kind). And of course waffles go perfectly with ice-cream. It’s a dessert but also a breakfast, or lunch or brunch or whatever you want it to be. Because, really, anytime is a good time for ice-cream! 🙂
