My baking experiment #121 – football brownie bites

Today is Super Bowl 50! Although i’m not a huge football fan, i do enjoy partaking in the festivities, especially of that involving food.

My friend is having a super bowl watch party at their place and there’ll be lots of food & pizza, and of course i’m gonna make my contribution with dessert:

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup flour

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
  2. Place chocolate and butter in bowl. Heat on high power 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until mixture is smooth. Stir in sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and cocoa, and stir well. Add salt and flour and stir until combined.
  3. Place 1 heaping Tbsp batter in each muffin cup. Bake 10-12 minutes until done.
  4. Decorate with icing to look like football.

These brownie bites are really fudgey and chocolatey; super yummy! 🙂
