My baking experiment #140 – chocolate-stuffed brownie bites

Happy Saturday! It’s time for my weekly baking again. This week i’m craving chocolate (well actually i’m always craving chocolate) so i decided to bake some chocolate-candy stuffed brownie bites for double the chocolate goodness:

1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter,Β cubed
1 large egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup flour

12 pieces of chocolate candy (Hershey’s kisses, mini peanut butter cups, etc)

1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 12 mini muffin tin wells.

2. Microwave chocolate and butter 30-60 seconds.Β Stir until chocolate is melted. Whisk in egg, vanilla and salt. Add in flour and stir until just combined.

3. Scoop batter into muffin tin wells. Place a piece of chocolate candy into center of each well and press lightly into batter. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges look set.

These stuffed brownie bites are so yummy, full of chocolatey flavor. They’re so simple to make, less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Definitely satisfied my chocolate craving!

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, wishing all mothers a wonderful day. Happy baking, y’all! πŸ™‚
